MEET
Our Doctor
Dr. Sterna began practicing optometry in 1985. His practice philosophy has always been to place the needs and care of his patients as his top priority. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1981 from the College of Wooster with major in chemistry and minor in Latin American studies, then went on to obtain his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Ohio State University in 1985.
In August 2011, he was granted Diplomate status by the American Board of Optometry, becoming one of the first optometrists in the United States to be awarded this distinction. Since becoming a Diplomate Dr. Sterna has served as a state ambassador in Ohio and now serves as the board’s Vice-Chairman.
He is bilingual and happy to serve the Hispanic population healthcare needs.
